I'm really, really sorry that I was gone for so long. Especially considering if I'd done just one more page it would've been a much better place to just disappear for a month. Other than needing some time off for personal reasons, I don't have any excuses, so I'm going to work hard to make as many extra pages as I can over the next week or two to make up for it.
I'm experimenting doing pages in Photoshop now, so please excuse future newbie mistakes that are likely to crop up in future pages.

I'm sure that almost all of you will have heard the news at this point, but just in case there are some people who haven't know - Sailor Moon will be getting a new anime series in 2013! It's not a rumour, it's really happening. You can read the Anime News Network article about it and watch the original Nico Nico Douga video announcement - featuring Momoiro Clover Z, the group confirmed to sing the new opening song - subtitled on Miss Dream's YouTube channel. This is an exciting time for all Sailor Moon fans! We waited and it's finally paying off!
I started reading this comic yesterday! I was (am) totally in love, and I just happened to refresh my window this morning to see that you've posted another page! I love everything about this - the art, the characterization, the humor. As an old Sailor Moon fan, this comic has gotten me nostalgic and even more excited for the new anime in 2013! Thank you so much for the time and effort you put into this comic - I'll be checking back frequently for the newest updates. :)
That wasn't Minako. That was Sailor Venus, the leader of the inner senshis. I knew she'd say no, but I wasn't sure why. But I do understand her fully. I guess this is kind a turn in the story. When Kunzite tells the other kings, they might understand why the sailors haven't been that nice. Zoisite is probably the one who's all "That's not true! We are good! We're here for Endymion" and then rushes out to talk to Ami, because she seems to be the most rational one.
And then there's fluff! :D
Okay maybe not, but I do hope we get some Ami/Zoisite action soon, because I think these two got kinda left behind ;)
She said no, and really makes sense why too, she has a duty to perform first before doing what she wants to do. And I can tell she was wrestling with her feelings too. Honestly, I wasn't dissapointed, I loved it! And I LOVE THIS WEBCOMIC! It totally revived the love I had for the series.
Speaking of reviving...... OMG THERE'S A NEW ADAPTION/REMAKE??? Wait, next summer? -sigh- Well, If I survived waiting for Legend of Korra, then I can survive this too... but its SO HARD!!!! TT-TT
Seriously, that last panel was absolutely stunning. Her back facing him, her hair blowing in the wind... it's so damn pretty, and the impact is absolutely huge, especially with the bomb she's just dropped on him. I don't know what's going on with her but it's damnably intriguing and I cannot wait until the next part.
I want to see Kunzite's reaction, because he did not know about Minako's deeper, more substantial self. And now it seems like she remembers EVERYTHING. How very interesting.
I have to applaud you for this page, the dialogue, the art, everything about it. I think this is my favourite page yet. I even like all the little back dot thingies, they add gritty character to the scene.
I hope everything's ok with your personal issues and I am so glad you're back.
This opens a lot more questions, like whether or not the other senshi have also been in relationships with the other Shitennou in the past, whether or not the senshi have also retained their memories or if it's just Minako, if Minako got back her memories because of what happened to her heart cage or whatever, and how much Kunzite actually remembers. I didn't expect Mina to have her SM memories. Awesome twist, Frizz. :)
Minako completely *played* Kunzite. Take a moment and think about what this means.
Silly, fluffy, boy-crazy (and occasionally slightly psychotic) Minako just handed the serious, pragmatic (and also occasionally slightly psychotic) leader of the storied Shitennou his very fine butt on a silver platter - and he never saw it coming.
I am in awe of the skill with which you are presenting this amazing tale. That last panel where Minako is walking away, the elegance and simplicity of the lines of her hair and body is utterly breath-taking.
I'm sorry that you are facing hard times. One of the odd truths of life for creative people is that there is an uneasy, complicated dance between pain and creativity. So please accept some well earned love and respect from this middle-aged story-teller. I've been mentoring young writers for over a decade and it's the joy of coming across talent like yours that keeps me going. You are utterly brilliant.
So for some reason, I was under the impression that I couldn't comment without having some kind of account thingy, but luckily I just discovered this was not the case. Therefore now I will bombard you with love and compliments every time you update.
THIS. WAS. SO. AWESOME.
This right here is why Minako/Venus is my favorite. Because everyone thinks she's just "crazy ribbon lady," and they write her off as vapid and uninteresting and kind of insane (I'm looking at you Kunzite). But she is so much more than that, so much more awesome than that. And she played a long game here, which I don't think anybody saw coming. But now she's put Kunzite in his place, let him know what's up (COMMUNICATION, OH HOW I LOVE YOU), and been fair but firm in regards to his goodness/potential for going bad again.
Minako is so awesome and you are so awesome for writing this. <3
Oh, and I'll just echo this: that last panel is so boss I CAN'T EVEN DEAL WITH IT. It may have been even cooler if that was a whole page, but you have the knowledge of the comics and the art things.
To the person above: I'm assuming she means that her going gaga over Kunzite was (at least partly) an act to scop out their intentions and how much they remember and stuff. Apparently she wasn't exactly... Satisfied with the results. So for now she's pretty much breaking up with. At least that's what I got from her little speech here. Well except the fact that the theory of Master 19 stealing her love for Kunzite wasn't true. Cause she clearly said she does. So once again it's up to debate. What DID he take from her?
Venus is just stunning on this page. I agree with the others, this isn't Minako anymore. It's great to see the leader of the senshi back in charge but I also pity her. It must be hard to reject the man you love in this way.
For a few seconds, I asked myself if she is crying on tha last panel, but we will see. =)
I really really love your comic and will wait impatiently for the next page.
(but take your time, there are more important things than this!)
Yaaaay Frizzy is back! Not only is Frizzy back but NEW SAILOR MOON ANIME SERIES!!! So excited right now!
And what a post to return with! That right there is why Minako is my favorite. She goes from goofball to no-nonsense in a heartbeat. All this time Kunzite has come across as the crafty, slick one and she totally played him. The light in that last panel is just right--really suits her character at that moment.
I like others have to wonder now... what DID Master 19 take from her?
I'm going to put my two cents in on what was taken from her "cage." We saw in Hotaru's dream that an image of her Glaive was taken from her. Now, we've seen an image of a heart taken from Minako. I believe their ability to transform and become a senshi has been taken away.
In any case, Minako is a bamf. She's always been my favorite.
