I'm really sorry it's taken me so long to update again. School got so hectic, so fast, it's made my head spin. I barely have time for anything. D:
And then the first time I tried to edit this page GIMP crashed and I lost it. x _x;;
But those are just excuses. I'm sorry. D:
Thankyou to everyone who's been reading and is still continuing to do so even though I'm a naughty author! ; ~;
And if there's a case where I can't find the time to do a whole pages then I'll put up an 'Ad Break' between pages, full of (usually fanservice-rife) sketches (some in colour!). And of course I'll try to keep up little token gestures outside of the comic, along the same line as the LJ and Kunzite's hat game.
Ack! I'm breaking my own no-posting-comments rule! Normally I answer questions in the next page but I don't know how far away that will be, so... here.
That was a flashback to when they first got de-stoned (aka. in the morning before Mamoru found them). I tried to show it as a memory with the black border and screentone, since that's normally how manga show that something is a memory or something. I'm not very good at it, though. > >;; Thanks!
So yes, it is a part of that conversation.
Only Kunzite and Zoisite were home until Mamoru came back with Jadeite. Nephrite's still out, douchin' about.
I just wanna hug poor bummed Zoisite (and it's great to see a side of him other than overly flirtatious shallow boy!).
However, I do have a question. Is this a later continuation of the same conversation? It seems to be a natural flowing of the previous strip, but Jadeite was part of that conversation and now he's returning with Mamoru.
Damn Mamoru, you look WAY TOO CHIPPER about this. He's definitely going to be the kind of father who's all "c'mon kids, today we're going to learn the value of fiscal responsibility! Won't that be FUN?" No wonder Chibi Usa carries toy guns around in her pocket.
I see what you're going for with the flashbacks, but it's still a bit fuzzy to me. Maybe you could, at least, thicken the dark lines around the flashback panels so they're set apart more. Some comics I read set a different color filter over their flashbacks, but I don't know if you want to interrupt the black and white. Either way, I don't think it breaks the flow too much, since the conversations fit together so well.
I'm sorry! I feel like an idiot now. I guess the only "excuse" I can give is that I don't really read much manga so I was not aware of that custom and didn't realize the significance of the shading.
Thanks for your patience and dealing with my stupidity ;-).
