We're almost to the funny pages, I swear! Just a little more serious, and some plot, and them BAM! Probably some kind of fart joke.
I was going to make a big fuss about how people weren't reading the author's notes and how they were making fools of themselves and how they were ruining it for everyone else (YOU GUYS I TOLD YOU NOT TO SAY IT WAS BERYL >:|), but it's not that important. So I figured I'd try something else! Whenever I remember, I'll put a little secret password in the author's notes, and so if you leave a comment, you can put that password in there somewhere. Then you're a part of the "I Read the Author's Notes" club. It doesn't have to be obvious, like if you want you could put it in the title of your comment. Or you could not do it at all! It's your choice. But our club meeting room has like, 7-UP and twizzlers, so, you know. Just don't, uh, make it obvious what you're doing. Don't go "I READ THE AUTHOR'S NOTES SO HERE IS THE PASSWORD!". That spoils the fun! And bonus marks if you can work the password into a coherent and relevant comment!
Today's password is Fieldmouse Pudding. Mmm! Delicious.
I just noticed Kunzite has a laptop by his bed however it's missing the mouse, that's an intresting touch. He also fell asleep reading a book-has he been doing field research? All this speculation has made me hungry, think I'll go get pudding. Great job on the serious pages! It's been refreshing, I still can't wait for more pages.
Fabulous Inspiring Eyecandy Loveliness Darling!
^_^ kunzite just waking up + strange Mysteries he wants explained /pretty flOwers = me loving this chapter. yoU SurE know how to treat us worthless fan People. *lol* thoUgh saDly, it looks like the Day IsN't Going to treat our boys well next huh?
now i'm off to the store... to buy.... uhh.... jello jigglers? *gets shot at* Gah!!!
btw, that flower looks familiar to me too. oh no... i lost my memories! aaaaahhhh!!! *gets shot at some more* no wait, i remember now. hahahaaha!
God, I tried. I tried to make a coherent sentence with "fieldmouse pudding" in it that was any sort of relevant, but I couldn't without it sounding terribly disturbing. I generally don't comment much, but I do read the author's notes. Luckily my memory of the manga is spot-on so I knew it was Beryl, but I kept it to myself obviously because it would have ruined the fun (and obviously did, silly people.)
My most recent sentence attempt:
I can picture Makoto making fieldmouse pudding to leave on the doorstep for Neph, decorated with actual field mice corpses of course, as a very un-subtle way of saving "Leave me the hell alone." Why use a horse head when you can threaten with baked goods?
There's something that I love about Kunzite's face in the 3rd and 5th panel. It looks just... fantastic, as did Beryl, in the last page.
Don't worry about the seriousness, either. I really enjoy both the funny parts of the comic, and the serious parts. It's neat, trying to figure out what you've got planned, and what's coming next. ^___^ Kind of like trying to figure out how fieldmouse pudding has anything to do with actual fieldmice. o.0
Damn Kunzite, that is some fabulous hair you've got going on in the first panel. I see a hipbone! <3
They look kind of like moon flowers. Or maybe morning glories. Hmm, the title seems awfully ominous. I wouldn't expect the aliens to intentionally leave them a poisonous room, but maybe they didn't consider that certain plans would be poisonous to humans and not themselves.
So when Nephrite finally emerged from the budroom on the day of the mysterious leaves, all he could talk about were the fieldmice eating all his pudding.
what the fieldmouse pudding is wrong with people? i did an angry comment about people not listening. lol why are you so concerned about the funny? everyone seems to enjoy the serious parts as well. to be honest i just think serious parts are done better altogether just because you look forward to the next piece and its not as exciting when it doesnt answer the questions.
The pudding is in the field with the mouse
I really look forward to the guys meeting up with Beryl. But I REALLY want Usagi to see her. :D Love to watch those two sit together in an awkward silence or something. :D
Mmm, flowers. Will those have any significant purpose to this at all? O.O Or shall the field moused pudding consume them!
I try, and fail. But I do read the comments each time even though I don't always comment myself. ^_^
Promise of the Rose
hmmm i wonder if those flowers can be used to make fieldmouse pudding not sure what kind of flower it is so i can't rly tell if they're the edible kind or not. if they're not careful that beautiful room of theirs might produce the groups favorite floral-mind alternating-host turning-desceptional enemy.
Kunzite in a field...
waxing poetry about flowers! I love the 4th panel, and I can't help but wonder if a mouse will jump out of one of those vanilla pudding colored flowers...
I'll get the exterminator...
*please pass the Pull-n-Peel O.o*
While the comic and the Four Kings have been looking utterly *epic* since pg 1, I must say they are not only epic now, but, like, beyond gorgeously epically epic. Anyway, thank you sosososo much for this page. It's rather pleasant after having an icky day of feeling like...pudding. Pudding with nerve endings, pudding in pain. But I'm sure that this, and watching that little fieldmouse with the sword from Prince Caspian will make me feel better.
Can't wait for more! Love the serious and the funny!
They still make 7-Up?! WHERE?! And now I want to buy Twizzlers and Sprite and use the Twizzlers as a straw. Also, fieldmouse pudding is nowhere near as tasty as guinea pig sauce. (I have, unfortunately, had the latter. ._. Ah, Peru.)
I'm sure my kitty would love some fieldmouse pudding, especially since she's mad at me now because I squealed and scared her off my lap when I saw this had been updated again. Alas, I have no fieldmouse pudding to give her and even if I had a fieldmouse I wouldn't ever ever ever make it into pudding as I think that would disgust me a lot >.> Anyway, stop worrying about seriousness ... I love the seriousness just as much as I love the funny ^__^
Don't worry about hurrying to the next funny parts. Take your time, tell your story, we're enjoying it. :-)
I don't like thinking about pudding made out of cute little fieldmice....instead, I'll imagine it's pudding made *by* cute little fieldmice, with tiny chef hats and aprons, dancing around the bowl, tossing in spices and singing a happy pudding song.
Fieldmouse Pudding You Say?
I honestly could see Luna turning up her nose at that, while Artemus has his face half in it chowing down. You can see little pieces and flecks of mouse ooze all over his face as he's like 'What?' to Luna. Just a thought. LOL.
Those flowers look like members of the Solanales order, most famous for the Convolvulaceae and Solanaceae families, which includes the nightshade and bindweed plants. Looks closer to a bindweed than anything else, though. Oooo I hate those guys. They're terrible weeds.
Look like Beryl same woman. and but you have all forget. she have red hair. and she have black hair. and she's not Beryl. but. she's dead from 2 or 3 year ago. i know all sailor moon movies. let me know.
Guest, the manga (comic book) version of Beryl had black hair before she was corrupted by Metaria. In the anime (cartoons and movies), she always had red hair. Obviously Frizzy is drawing from the manga here.
Feild mouse pudding
The out-of-focus blur is just fucking INCREDIBLE, Frizzy! Every time I think you can't get any better, you outdo yourself! This is seriously beautiful.
And since I own a dirty mind, I can't wait to see who bangs first in the budroom. Or if the budroom actually uh, produces buds one of those days. Hey, it's a plant! I'm sure it flowers...somehow...if people would let it grow to that point.
But mostly who gets laid in the budroom first.
EDIT: HA! I just got the text on the comic panel! Oh Neph! I love that glorious bastard!
