Augh, I've been busy this week and before I knew it, seven days had passed since the last update. x ___x; I was so sure I was swimming in free time...
Anyway, I'm proud of this page, so I hope it's worth the wait!
What's happening to Kunzite? A vision? A flashback? Sudden death? Maybe he's having, uhhh, "allergies".
Oh, and today's password is stars. Um, just to mention, the password is just meant to prove you read the author's notes when you want to leave a comment; it's not something to base your entire comment around! As amusing as last week's comments were, please don't push yourself (just put it as the comment title if you like). Password shouldn't outweigh content... D:
Thankyou to everyone for reading the author's comments, though! I knew I could count on you guys. ♥ Thanks.
It's like a field of stars! Or perhaps moons would be better. Anyway, that would be super creepy if Mamo-chan weren't so freaking cute in that last frame. Otherwise it'd be all like 0_o THEY'RE ALL FOR HERRRRRR!! *crazy laughter*
that's a lot of flowers for one girl! I hope she's not allergic to them, because that would be hilarious.
At first glance I thought it was Sapphire saying he was growing flowers in the bud room for whatsherface (Petz?) but then recognized it as a younger looking Darrien. Nephrite should take notes and buy Lita some flowers.
this is good. Is darien supposed to look younger? at first i thought it was rushed or something but i read comments about him being younger and it made a lot of sense. i thought it was funny how all the comments did last time was say fieldmouse pudding.
Lurker alert. :)
This is a pretty page. I especially like the moon and stars background on the 3rd panel. The blending is gorgeous.
omgomgomgomg is Kunzie high? Did he consume shroom's in the room so he could see stars? lolcakes. I always imagine him as straightedge..but it could be a coping mechanism since he can't see stars with Minako?
okay, my mind has done enough tangents. I'm still confuzzled.
My stars, this is a nice page!
I have to agree with Labbess in wondering why Endymion would grow so many morning glories and then center the rest of his life on red roses....
But other than that, great job on the artwork again!
The stars know everything...
Oooooooor it's a sudden flashback, which makes sense considering Kunzite was just thinking about how mixed up his memories are, and then the moonflower triggered something. I thought the whole change in uniform made it obvious.
Awww little Endy! Lookit you with your ridiculous big sweeping gesture of love for the alien princess. Couldn't give her just one flower, could we? Had to take over a whole field for her. D'awww.
I'd pick a gorgeous page like this over a special event thing any day.
"Regardless, that really, really wasn't the point. I cannot begin to express to you how beside the point that was. Do you think that Mamoru is a botany expert? No, probably not."
I didn't say he was, nor was I expecting you to be. ^^;; Nor do I think that the type of flower is "the point." It was a geeky observation, akin to how one will dorkily pick at the fact of why there is a penis feather at the end of Sailor Moon, or how "Star Gentle Uterus" is maybe not the best name for a senshi attack, except that I think those things are meant to be taken more seriously than my Botany dorkiness, which is saying something because I don't think the aforementioned critiques from your top 10 list were meant to be taken very seriously outside of a "minor nitpick about something I otherwise love" way.
I'm not asking you to edit your comic to appease my inner geek. It was simply an observation relating to something I happen to have an interest in.
If something about a comic *seriously upsets me,* and trust me, this didn't in any way, shape or form, it's pretty easy to, y'know, stop reading that comic, rather than leaving comments. I only bother to leave comments when it's something that I really care about and enjoy, and this one was intended to be in good fun and as a way of sparking conversation about something I love, not as a serious criticism. I'm sorry if you thought it was meant as some kind of srs bsns post. It wasn't.
Haha, I'm sorry, I don't know if it's the same in the Land Down Under, but in the UK, some of us use the term 'Morning Glory' to refer to Morning Wood and the way Endymion's hands were positioned... well, thoughts travelled through that dirty path, and then I saw that he was a kid! Whoops....
